Its versatile shooting capabilities allow for a range of frame rates: 30fps in full-frame 8.6K, 60fps in full-frame crop 6K, S35 5.8K, and a breathtaking 120fps in S35 crop 4K. Advanced Internal Recording Capabilities
Despite its compact form, the BURANO boasts advanced internal recording options, including X-OCN LT, the new XAVC H, and the industry-standard XAVC-I formats. Sony’s X-OCN LT compressed RAW format captures the full spectrum of the 8.6K sensor in a 16-bit scene linear file, maintaining rich tonal gradations. X-OCN LT enhances efficiency by reducing storage demands and speeding up file transfers, streamlining 8K content management to resemble a 4K project workflow.
For further efficiency, the BURANO supports 10-bit S-Log3 with XAVC H-I HQ recording at 1200 Mbps and XAVC H-I SQ recording at 800 Mbps for 8K30p image quality, significantly reducing data usage and expediting post-production processes.

Originating from Sony's Alpha series mirrorless cameras, the compact stabilization system incorporates a gyroscopic sensor and advanced control algorithms. This innovation compensates for camera shake during handheld and moving shots, often eliminating the need for additional stabilizing equipment.

Fast Hybrid Autofocus

Developed by Sony's Alpha camera engineers, this system combines phase detection AF for rapid subject tracking with contrast AF for pinpoint focus accuracy. Face Detection technology further enhances this capability by intelligently locking onto human faces.
